Boys On The River

With Tim out of plaster, he kindly chauffeured us to our chosen launch site at Kerne Bridge; a place heaving with excited hire canoe hordes. While Tim warmed up his artistic good arm, we meandered downstream.

As we neared the imposing rock face of The Yat, peregrines wheeled high above, while kingfishers darted away from us.

Tim scooped us up ahead of the oncoming monsoon, with perfect timing. Phew: we've done the river in 2014. Tim had some nice sketches safely recorded, so all in all, a very successful outing. Thanks guys!
